SMS was among the first to manufacture a hard-faced hammer.  Precision in manufacturing and quality control make for long lasting, cost effective hammers.  All hammers are heat treated and oil quenched to insure maximum life.

Each hammer is individually weighed and placed in a matched set to provide a precision balance in your hammermill.

SMS maintains a large inventory of finished hammers for many hammermills for rapid shipment.
